So, in my VERY brief time with Home Assistant, I did note that it had a feature that allowed you to broadcast to any and all speakers connected to your network. I have Apple HomeKit AND Google devices… is there anyway to broadcast a message through Homey that goes to my Apple AND Google speakers? I think an issue is that I have not figured out how to get Homey to see my HomePods at all
Afaik with Homey it’s split into systems: chromecast enabled devices need the “Cast text to google app” to broadcast announcements,
(I think the right description is: “Broadcast to all google devices”)
apple needs an other app (no clue).
I think you’ll need to use 2 flow cards to create google + apple broadcasts.
I use both Homey (2019) ánd HA btw, both have unique features, and both lack unique features; find an integration tutorial here.
