I’m facing an issue with integrating the Nuki door sensor into a flow on Homey Pro. Currently, the integrated Homey Pro app recognizes the Nuki lock perfectly but not the door sensor.
Does anyone have a solution or suggestion for incorporating this door sensor into a flow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This flow seems to suggest that it’s supported (but indirectly I assume, where the sensor is connected to the lock, and the lock reports the state to Homey):
hello peter !
I had thought about that, but I wanted to avoid having two sensors on the same door. However, thanks to your suggestion, I think I’ve found the solutionThanks to Robert ! and you of course lol
Did you, @shahine or anyone, find a good way to use the Nuki sensor in Homey flows?
I connected a Nuki sensor to my Smart Lock Pro 5 today, but the flowcards mentioned by @robertklep don’t trigger any actions.
It also seems that the status of the sensor in the Nuki Android app is lagging a lot (or not updating at all), although the Nuki Lock itself shows the status of the sensor almost instantly (by its LED)…
I’ve had the Nuki for a while, and since I got the Homey Pro I tried to incorporate it. However, it falls short. I still haven’t figured out whether this is an issue with the Homey app or with Nuki itself.
Out of 10 times I lock or unlock the door, Homey registers it only about 7 times. The door sensor is even worse: I’d say only about 3 out of 10 actions are registered correctly.
I think you’re experiencing the same issue.
Strangely enough, in HomeKit the performance is significantly better. The issue especially appears when opening or closing the door multiple times in a short period. For example: it registers perfectly when the door is opened twice a day, but it fails often when it’s opened 8 times within 3 hours.
