Same here. You have to pair the SP240 in the walloutlet which you are going to use it → then it works. But if you unplug it and replug it again you have to pair again to see the actual power readings (it locks at the last power readings before unpluging) @Developper: Please look into it. I’m using 2.1.26 version.
I’ve just bought a 4 pack of SP240’s, but can’t get them paired to homey. At first it found some of them, but it took too long during detection so it stopped adding because there was no reaction anymore. Now It doesn’t even find a plug in pairing mode. I have tried multiple PTP and re0installs of the innr app.
Anyone any idea how I can solve this?
Thanks!
Put your plug in pairing mode again by pressing the button for at least 5 seconds. The green light will start to blink. Then try pairing again.
I know, but that doesn’t work. But I’m afraid the problem is bigger, I can’t add any zigbee device anymore. Even did a recovery with backup restore, but that didn’t solve it. Looks like a serious zigbee issue. The current zigbee devices are working flawless however, so that makes the situation even stranger and not limited to Innr.
I have reset the zigbee network and added all devices again. Now I can also add the SP240, but found the similar power reading issue as others. Hope it will be fixed some day.
Hi everyone,
I bought a SP240, and I’m still having the same problem with losing condumption readings after a short power failure (or unplug).
Do you have other information on the subject? Will a solution be provided by the developer? Anything?
Any update on the issue of SP240 not showing measurement data? I am using Innr app version 2.1.31 and my SP240 still does not show any measurement data. I did a re-pair of the SP240
Did you repair the plug in the wall outlet where you gonna use the plug? Otherwise it doesn’t work.
When you press the button for 5 seconds you get a message that the plug has been left the Zigbee network. After that the plug connects again. Then the plug is showing measurement.
Hi Jacques, this helps. The SP240 is showing a measurement now. Thanks a lot. Under Homey Developer Tools → Zigbee → Nodes this SP240 is stil showing a [?] at the route while other Zigbee products are showing their route to Homey. Any idea why?
I don’t know. In Homey Pro 2023 I can’t see the route.
I’ve notice that the INNR products are the worse when it comes down to Zigbee. Doesn’t matter what happens here, they are the first to lose connection. I repair these devices (powerplug, lightbulbs) at least once a week while other Zigbee devices just keep on working.
Hi!
I’ve been in touch with the Innr support. I don’t know if this info is known already, but I share the info that I got anyways.
Seems like there is a fix from the Innr company already. The current problem is how to update the Innr firmware to fix this issue.
The fix is available through a firmware update through Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT.
Unfortunately the fix is not yet available with the Innr hub nor Homey Pro, but they seem to try to work on it to be able to spread the firmware update.
I don’t know if this raises our hopes, but it feels like something is going in the right direction at least.
For those of you who have access to Home Assistant and/or Zigbee2MQTT, you guys can apparently get the fixed firmware update already!
Hopefully the rest of us will too soon.
Homey doesn’t support Zigbee OTA firmware updates, and AFAIK also will not in the foreseeable future. There’s nothing INNR can do to fix that.
The possible solution mentioned was to send Homey users an Innr hub to make the firmware update possible, but I’m a little sceptical if they will actually do that.
The first challenge is, however, to make the Innr hub include the firmware update and be able to push the update to its plugs, which is not possible yet, according to their support.
I’ve the innr bridge to check if there was an update available but there isn’t one.
Do you know if it’s also available for the bridge?
Hi!
According to customer support, they estimate the availability of the firmware update on the Innr bridge to be about 2 months. However they also said that it could take longer or shorter time.
That long , while it’s already available to update via Zigbee2MQTT
I know. It’s a shame. But better late than never… Hopefully…
This is one of the major drawbacks (which can easily lead to a security risk) of the cluttered home automation eco system. IMHO every manufacturer of end devices and hubs should have an essential interest in changing that.
Innr and other manufacturer should be able to implement a firmware update for their devices in their app, right?
Not in their Homey apps, because Homey simply lacks the functionality. Other platforms, like Home Assistant or Zigbee2MQTT do support OTA firmware updates.
