Improving the alarm clock

Two suggestions to improve alarm clock, beside already requested (and so far not implemented) suggestion to make it available in web interface (why is it not there? doesn’t make sense) :

  1. Make one-time alarms possible. As of now, only repeated alarms are possible. It would be nice to create an alarm that goes off at the next opportunity and only once. Such as when you wake up in an unusual time. If I’m traveling and need to wake up at 4 AM, for example. God forbid if I forget to disable/delete the alarm.
  2. Add the ability to skip the next occurence of an alarm. For example when I wake up before the alarm goes off, I have a whole flow to disable it and another to enable it again. Way too much hassle that could be solved with a single feature.

This is already possible

On the next minute it swithed to disabled as there is no recurring.

Thank you. Will try it. I had googled the answer that said it is not possible and Homey itself claimed “no alarm” was set when I was trying it.

While it can run for weeks or maybe even months, but what if, God forbid, Homey fails / crashes after some nightly update? It won’t wake you up in those situations.
I would never use it as an actual alarm clock.

Don’t tell us you still have automatically updating enabled.

I have a backup alarm. But so far, Homey never failed.
