Im in need of advice befor buying an Homey Pro

Hello,
Im new to the forum, and im looking to buy an Homey Pro.
There is just one thing i do not find anywhere (or maybe i dont look in the right spot)
so maybe anybody here knows the following two things:

Can you do 433 mhz (klikaan klikuit) AND somfy RTS in the same homey? if i try to make it with Homeassist i need to get 2 different transmitters.

and second question:
How many devices can you add to the Homey pro, without an subscription?
or is the subscription only for the backups and not for devices, i’ve read that with the normal homey you can get 5 devices without subscription.

100% correct!

Nooo, non-backup related supscriptions are purely Homey cloud related.
Which is an app, called “Homey” by Athom.
The naming is very unclear and confusing if you ask me.

Homey Pro is an actual device, to fully use without any (mandatory) supscription.
Note: unless the “everything local” yell, it needs the Athom cloud every other 2 weeks to check your credentials…
(It will continue to run w/o internet, but you can’t manage it (or use the dashboard) anylonger.)

Optional supscription: online automatic backups €10/y (for max. 3 Pro’s you own!)
Which is a bargain, it saved my ass multiple times :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

But, you can backup the Pro 2023 yourself, albeit a bit 1980’s : you’ll have to start Homey Pro in backup mode and connect it to a PC or laptop with sufficient free storage.
No automatic stuff, but it’s free of charge :grimacing:

By “buying device” you are paying for lifetime subscription. Yes. You see right. You are not byuing device which you’re owner of. Device cannot work without the Internet and relies on online services in core functions like user management, access to web dashboard, backups (there is “local” backup, but it still requires online tool). So… how to call it other than lifetime subscription?
