Hi Ricardo,

Thank you for reaching out to our support!

I checked with a colleague that was working on the partnership and while we still realy want to make an official App, we have been unable to start as iBlinds didn’t respond any further. For now as we get no contact we have to pause the project, if in the future this changes we of course will start again.

Perhaps you can send a message to iBlinds, if they see that their customers want an Homey integration these processes go much faster.

For now this is all I can do for you as support, which is why I’m closing your ticket.

I was wondering, one year later…?
Still got the iBlinds with the big wish to integrate them in Homey :folded_hands::folded_hands:

We haven’t received any updates from iBlinds since our last communication.

It also appears that their devices are disappearing from retail stores.

Since their devices use Z-Wave, I can explore the possibility of developing an app for iBlinds in the future. However, we would need a sample device for testing.

Thanks for your quick response! I am willing to lend one of my units for a few weeks for testing purposes, as long as the timeline is clear to me. After all, I have to do without window darkening for a while.

Looks like we’ve got a deal!

Shoot me an email at partners@athom.com with your contact details, and we’ll reach out when we have the bandwidth to pick up development on this integration. I expect that to be the second half of April.

I have provided a copy to an app developer and that has resulted in an official beta version being made available. Test it out!

What a relief that the z-wave engine doesn’t go down in 2 minutes :folded_hands:

If using the Beta will I need to re pair the iBlinds? or will the beta app replace the current (old) app?

You’ll need to install it again, different development. But I can say it’s pretty stable :folded_hands:
