How to update device if you have paired it on the Homey Pro?

Hello,

I am thinking on switching from unreliable homekit and proprietary apps to centralize everything on Homey Pro.

I have a variety of devices, Meross, Tuya, Eve, Hue etc and they always have in app firmware update.

If I pair them directly on Homey, I wont see them on their respective app right ?
If so, how do I update them?

Depends on the protocol that the devices use. Homey cannot update firmware for Zigbee and Z-Wave devices, and since devices using those protocols can only pair with a single controller, if they are connected to Homey directly you cannot update them.

Devices that use WiFi typically are able to connect to both Homey and their original app, so firmware updates should work in that case.
