I just bougth a Homey Bridge because of price, but it seems to have no connectivity, or I simply can not find the correct app.
My quiestion is: How do I get data out of the device. I want to get the temp from some sensors out to a main system, for instanse via MQTT, API, MODBUS-TCP, OPCUA or whatever possible…
I guess I must connect to the cloud, for as I understand, this device is cloud-based…
I just want to get my temperatures…
The Homey bridge is just a piece of ‘dumb’ hardware, to extend Homey Cloud/Pemium, or Homey Pro 2023 + Mini.
You first have to install the Homey app, add a ‘cloud’ Homey;
Next, you can add the bridge to the Homey instance.
Waaaaay too technical for Homey cloud.
It can connect cloud-to-cloud API’s though by means of apps:
