Perhaps I can help.
In my situation, if a VThermostat reaches the programmed setpoint, it will tigger this flow:
The following screenshot shows the same, but in my dashboard:
If triggered, the flow will activate a Fibaro relay, that switches my heater on.
So, the average temperature of the two Aqara temp sensors is seen in the Vthermostat (=> 20,2). It is this value that act as a setpoint trigger, as defined in the Heating Schedule App.

I discovered that “Thermostat turned on” trigger card is not the same as ''switched on":
So, use the correct trigger card!
