SOLVED Homey is apparently not connected to the server

Homey is apparently not connected to the server. The LED ring is lit white. Several attempts to change the setting by restarting or disconnecting the power supply fail to change it. Homey is connected to the internet via my FritzBox. It has an exclamation mark in the app, and the message “Homey Bridge Not Connected” appears when I tap Homey in the app. Homey’s server status says everything is working. Does anyone have an idea?

I had deleted the Homey Bridge from my devices for a while. It disappeared from the app’s home screen. Then I reconnected it via “My Homeys.” It’s now linked to the app again, but it doesn’t appear on the home screen. When I try to reconnect it via “Home Screen Editor” “Edit Favorites,” I can’t get it back on the home screen. The Homey Bridge isn’t displayed in the device list. Could this be a side effect of Homey not being connected? I don’t know what I expected from this experiment.

The interesting thing is that I can see the current usage of connected devices. So, I have the Tibber Pulse on my favorite devices. And it shows me the current usage in the time periods I’ve set. Communication is working in every case. However, the LED ring stays white, and when I try to switch on a socket, I get an error message saying the bridge isn’t connected.

You have to add the bridge with the “add new device” button

No. I had the option to relink the existing one to the app. When I tried to link it as a new bridge, I got a message saying that only one bridge could be connected.

So if the white ring means the bridge is starting up, it’s strange that this is now a permanent state. It doesn’t do this for just one or two minutes; it does it permanently. And all attempts to change this by interrupting the power supply have so far failed.

After my first attempt to unplug and reconnect the bridge didn’t make a difference, I unplugged it again. This time, it behaved as described in the manual and signaled its readiness to reconnect with a blue light ring.
After that, everything worked as it should. Of course, everything I had configured so far was deleted, but that’s just how it is.
