Homey Pro instability

today alone 12am - 9pm Homey Pro has gone offline 45 times. not sure when this started but seems to be the norm the last couple days. Not up long enough for me to check for the version or disable any apps. the web gui never loads. mobile app never connects. using the oem power adapter and wifi.

are there any logs i can try to pull or recommendations?

in addition to the instability, i’ve found its not nearly as reliable as google home for any automations. i regularly have to turn off lights from google home. often i see in the homey app a device has an error “rate limit”

Are you using a Mesh WiFi system? If so, Homey can “hop” between the different mesh nodes. In most mesh systems, you can lock Homey to a specific mesh node. Make sure you choose the one closest to the Homey.

This means the device itself or the cloud service of the device has received too many requests. There’s nothing you can do about this other than wait for the rate limit to be lifted (that usually takes up to 24 hours).

Good solution like @smarthomesven is suggesting.

Another option is that, if you have the possibility to hard wire your Homey Pro using the ethernet adapter, the Homey has a solid wired connection, avoiding any wifi related issues.
