Homey Pro - Google Home. Multiple Users

Hi, I have successfully linked my Homey Pro to my Google Home. I have added a Flow to my favourites and successfully called this flow from a Personal Google Automation (Bedtime Routine). Now for my problem and the steps taken thus far…

When my wife tried to run the Bedtime routine (her copy of the Personal Routine in Google Home), the call to the Homey Pro routine did not work, Google saying “sorry device not configured” Aha I thought, I need to add the flow to her favourites in the Homey Pro. I tried this and it still did not work giving the same error. Next I tried adding the Homey again while logged in as my wife; my thinking here was that the accounts of the individual users may need to be linked (A to A, B to B etc). Now Google says it can’t reach my Homey.

I Switched back to my Google account to confirm everything is ok, which it is. My personal copy of the Bedtime routine works calling the Homey Flow.

So; can you link two users who both exist in the Homey Pro and the Google home. And what’s the trick, because I think I have tried all the logical things to get this working.

Thanks
Alan

AFAIK You’ll just need to share your Google Home with other users.

You are the only one to control which devices and flows are available in Google Home.

Oh, and welcome to Homey forum!

Thank you for the welcome.

My wife is a member of the Google Home and the Homey Pro, unless there is a step I have missed when adding her.

My use case is the opposite - using virtual devices to have HP control an Apple Home automation. But I believe the opposite should work as well.

Try using a virtual switch between the two platforms:

In HP create a virtual device (mood type). It will be either on or off. When it is on you can trigger your HP flow.

In GH any family member that triggers the virtual device, manually or via automation, will be able to trigger the HP flow.
