New user for a week so far to the Homey Pro and so far loving it, I moved from *cough cough* Google Home and could not be happier. I am struggling with one little thing at the moment. I have created flows and advanced flows which all work fine, one thing I have tried to do is run an advanced flow from Apple shortcusts. In Shortcusts all my standard flows are seen but the advanced flow is not so I cant automate it through shortcusts to trigger when my phone alarm goes off. I have been through multiple posts and after researching someone said add a âStart buttonâ trigger at the front of the advanced flow but I cant do that to go to a starting âwhenâ statement. Is there any reason why I canât see and trigger an advanced flow from shortcusts. Happy for any adviceâŚ..
NOTE: I have also tried adding it as a favorite and then closing shortcusts and homey app down on iphone but still doesnât work.
I just thought I would ask some long time experts of homey Pro.
in order to be able to manually start an advanced flow you need to add the start button to the flow. To do so, just open your advanced flow in a web browser, Click âAddâ, and choose âStartâ. You can then connect the start button to any other cards.
The start button is the equivalent of the âwhen this flow is triggered cardâ in regular flows. However, due to the fact that you can only have 1 start button in an advanced flow, but you could potentially add multitudes of any cards to advanced flows, Atom has decided to hide the âwhen this flow is triggeredâ card from the list and added this special start button instead.
