A sample size of 1 doesn’t mean a whole lot.
I’ve had a response today and they are apparently re-flashing the firmware - I’ll let you know how it goes over the weekend once that is complete
In Athom’s defence of above and maybe they havent posted publically but I’ve had polite and helpful messages in repsonse to logging issues. Not always quickest of responses but not terrible given ithey are busy - just sharing my experience so far.
10.3.1 was working ok. Now 10.3.2 is applied and the Zigbee problems are back…
Well a bit of a quick update, Homey Support asked to re-flash my ZigBee chip so gave them remote access, that was completed and now it is awful, far worse than it was beforehand with nearly all devices stopped working. 3-4 reboots every day to just close the curtains!! I’ve pushed it back to support to investigate further. I’ll keep you posted.
Hello everyone,
Didn’t update to 10.3.1 because things were working ok.
Now after restarting homey, things went south again.
Wtf are they doing?
Looked at zigbee config again, same issue as before … seems that zigbee is crashing. Can no longer ping zigbee routers after some time after reboot.
So you just restarted Homey and Zigbee is down ? What version you are currently on ?
Try to restart again and-or PTP.
I don’t have such issues with 73 Zigbee devices and on latest v10.3.2
I restarted the Homey as my Ikea Parasoll didn’t want to reconnect after battery change.
After restart stomps started to reaper, currently on ver 10.3.1.
Deactivated the auto updates, after the Zigbee issue,
Now it seems that Zigbee is working correctly, sometimes.
UPDATE: not working anymore
They just released 10.3.3 which has this disclaimer text at the bottom:
Homey Pro (Early 2023) Changelog | Homey
Note: there is currently an issue related to Zigbee in this, and previous firmware versions. Some Zigbee end-devices may experience difficulties reconnecting to Homey Pro after a reboot or firmware update. Also, in some cases Zigbee might become unavailable due to this issue. We are working together with Silicon Labs to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We understand the frustration this may cause and apologize for any inconvenience it may bring to your smart home experience.
Why don’t they send people email about this?
Not the “your warranty is up”.
This is pointless… this is just a users forum.
Pls contact Athom for your questions to them.
I had one parasoll ikea sensor in my setup besides Aqara and zigbee light link devices. Removed the ikea sensor and zigbee seems to be stable for couple of days now. Even the upgrade to latest firmware went ok.again fingers crossed …
I use version 10.3.2, and I’ve observed that I am still losing some Philips Hue outdoor sensors after restarting Homey. After a restart, some of my Lidl lights lose their color-changing functionality, but they regain it after a few days if Homey works without restarting.
This “Hockey Puck” is starting to get on my nervs, it’s been almost 2 months and they can’t find a f solution… wtf are they doing?
@Alex069 You did have a answer from Athom? Because I think you have asked them the same question.
Yes and did what they recommended, but still sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt
I chased as well as I’m on 10.3.3 which seems even worse and the response was they are still working with Silicon Labs to resolve the issue, no option of a roll back to stable version. I’m now 3-4 reboots a day to ensure curtains and blinds work (all Aqara controllers).
Hopefully they will find a fix soon as it is getting frustrating when not at home and everything fails. It seems very random but some days I’ll get two curtains respond and six fail, the blinds seem the worse and fail more than once every day.
Anyone brave enough to try?
so not this patch, probably next patch, 10.3.5 or afterwards
