Update feels laggy to me (especially when lights are turned on, and then there are other commands), some aquara switches stopped triggering flows… will go back to 10.3.0 ![]()
Hey Jiri, unfortunately you can’t, the 10.3.1 is the last stable one.
Even if you install via Cable, it will still install the 10.3.0.
Unless you restore a local backup.
I don’t have auto update turned on, so I can go back to last cloud backup on 10.3.0 :). At least that was said to me by Homey support.
With cloud backups you can’t go back to a previous stable firmware, unless something has changed recently (which I doubt).
10.3.0 was the vesion that had the Zigbee firmware changes which is when most users started reporting issues so you probably need to go back to 10.2.1 or one of the .rc versions.
I can’t go back to 10.2.1 because I have had auto update turned on at that version. I have turned it off after update 10.3.0… which broke some of my zigbee devices, but 10.3.1 seems to broker it little bit more…
I’m fairly sure they meant “local backup”, but hey, what do I know ![]()
I wrote them … maybe 10 emails regarding this topic mentioning it’s a cloud backup ![]()
You can not revert back to a earlier FW with a cloud backup.
After pushing heavily on support - who come back with arrogant responses completely oblivious to the impact their stuff failing has - Athom support has confirmed they have Zigbee issues, are aware of it and development is working on it (I have early 2019 version)
Because it affects so many and is known, OF COURSE Athom immediately took action to publish known issues and inform all customers so they can stop their weeks of troubleshooting and rebuilding.
Oh wait… That is what a professional organization who care about their customers would do. So obviously there is to this day no formal statement with what can be expected. Only silence from Athom.
I’m travelling now, but when back I’m going to return mine and demand a refund. The line has been crossed too many time. No further.
Some kind of rollback would be nice… statement like - we will roll out 10.3.2 as optional upgrade, with stable zigbee driver… :(. But as you said… nothing…
my zigbee lights are still doing what they want - chaning color one day, and another reporting errors when trying to change color. With no update, no restart…
…for 2019 version ?
My purchase is less than 2 years ago. I saw someone say before that the broken chip was refused as it was over a year old.
I saw Athom’s clauses and let’s just say they are not above the law. Europe demands a 2 year minimum and their requirement of accepting their conflict resolution process and not allowing going to court is laughable.
Another example of Athom’s ignorance, arrogance and clear misjudgement of reality. They will learn, but I think it will be the hard way.
If my seller requires approval from Athom, things will start going legal and they deserve every bit of it until they learn and improve.
But this thread is about 10.3.0. firmware and Zigbee issues on Homey 2023. Whatever you are facing is of the topic for this thread.
The zigbee issue is across the board. Check the topics all around.
But whatever floats your boat. I get it, your precious Athom is being bashed. Good luck man.
I actually do, I haven’t noticed any recent one. Please DM me eventually, I will be happy to learn something new. But please, stop posting irrelevant comments and replies or check history first.
Athom confirmed development is working on Zigbee issues to people with 2023 and with 2019 version. Chips were flashed, no banana.
They really need to get some public posts on the known issues. Previous topics on the subject seem to have gone, but there is a confirmed issue for both.
