Hi yall,
lately I have been experiencing an increase of my Homey going offline for no apparent reason.
Are there any logs or similar that I can use to investigate what is causing it to go offline?
Thanks!

Maybe have a look at the app: Audit
Thanks @SingKT but that app seems to log everything else but if the actual Homey device turns on/off?

Why do you conclude that Homey is switching off? It can also be because of a WiFi or other network problem. Does it still execute automations when you consider it’s off?
Because the error (“Homey is offline”) is deceptive and confusing.
Don’t see why. Being “offline” is really not the same as being “switched off”. It can be caused by it, but also by a number of other causes.
You didn’t share enough details but it’s quite good practice to install sysinternals app and watch for free mem, temperature, under voltages etc.
Exactly, that’s the confusing part.
The deceptive part is that the error can also pop up when Homey is still accessible on your local network, so when it’s not offline.
With this error, Athom puts the blame on the user for having a bad network, while it’s usually a matter of Athom’s system, of determining the online/offline status, being broken.
Thanks all for an interesting discussion!
Of course, it could be because of network going up and down. I cross-referenced it with my routers logs and it does not match any router offline events.
I’m going to give sysInternals a go.
Was just looking for logs to see if Homey logged anything unusual before it goes “offline”, kind of like Event Viewer in Windows.
[Edit]
hm, “This app can manage your entire Homey.”
Are there really no logs we can access for this purpose?
Only if you jailbreak your Homey.
