Homey Bridge not working properly

Hello, I have a homey bridge with multiple lamps, and plugs. Im having this issue where my zigbee devices (currently ikea trådlös gu10 spotlights, and thridreality smartplugs) not responding from the commands i do in the homey app. The Bridge responds fine to my commands, and a wiz bulb i have also works.

The thing is as soon as I unplug en replug the bridge then the zigbees work fine again, and sometimes the zigbee devices respond at a later time during the day(the problem fixes itself?) but its always a gamble if the zigbee lamps will respond or no. I have the standard power source i got with the bridge, and currently 6 ikea lamps and 2 smart plugs.

Anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it? I would love any help
Regards,
Axel

First of all, welcome to the Homey Community!

A main cause can be interference from wifi 2.4GHz signals

This post is aimed at Homey Pro, but you can just skip related parts:

My Homey Bridge has the same issue. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it works again, but only for a short time. I’ve had the bridge for over a year, and this problem only started recently.

I have the same problem with a EVA Smart plug. The smart plug does not respond to commands from flows or manual on/off. The plug looks as it is connected, but it is not possible to operate. Power off and on of the Homey Bridge solves the problem for a while, but after some hours (somtimes a few days) the same thing happens again. My Homey Bridge was new in summer 2025 and the first few months it worked fine. Now it is not to be trusted.

How is it utilised? Bridge as Homey cloud extension or Bridge as satellite?

Bridge as Homey cloud extension

I’d report it to Athom support as well.

This is typical for all Homeys when a device is powerless or unreachable. It needs a setting like “consider a device offline after x hours of inactivity”

.

You’re sure your 2.4GHz wifi (or your neighbours’) isn’t interfering?

I had the same issue earlier with at Aquara power plug. Wondered if the plug was defective, changed to this EVA-plug, the problem beeing the same. Funny thing is that the plug show updated information about electricity

used (watts), but the app icon for the plug stop woring for on and off.
