I have connected google home to homey (both added Homey to google home and turned on the Google assistant sync option in Homey app).
The reasopn is that I want to be able to use voice commands through my google nest speakers and run flows with homey.
I only see some of my Homey devices in Google Home as well as new devices do not get added, I have tried “hey google, sync devices” but that did not help. There seems to be a sync error that is not on my end. I have read through several posts regarding this problem, but mosts of the posts are a few years old. I have tried to unlink/reinstall apps but that didn`t help. What to do?
I am also facing issues with the Google Home integration.
It was working fine up until yesterday, but today all my calls for starting flows lead to “Unable to reach Homey”. Looking into Google Home, all my devices are offline. In the Homey App, “Sync with Google Home” seems to have disabled itself, but re-enabling did nothing.
I wanted to try and remove any trace of Homey from Google Home and start fresh, but this also does no longer work. Upon trying to reconnect my account in the Google Home app I get an Error 500 response object from the Athom API.
Did you try to reconnect your accounts?
I ended up with removing everybody from google home, create a new home, add family members and ONLY linking homey to my Google Home account as well as adding google assistant to homey. I think it is important. There is a few devices that does not show up in Google Home but I think the reason for that is that they are not supported.
