Hi everyone,
I’m new to Homey and could use a bit of help troubleshooting an issue. I’ve searched around and found similar reports, but nothing that has resolved my specific problem so far.
I recently transitioned from HomeSeer to Homey, as I prefer Homey’s user interface. I’m currently using two types of Z-Wave switches:
- HS-WD100+ (Wall Dimmer)
- HS-WS100+ (Wall Switch)
The issue lies with the HS-WD100+ dimmers. Adding them to Homey works fine, and I can control them through the app without any problems, on/off and dimming both function. However, the dim level percentage doesn’t seem to display accurately in the app.
The main problem is that when the dimmer is operated physically (via the wall switch), the status in the Homey app does not update. In contrast, the HS-WS100+ switches update their status in the app instantly when used physically.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Reviewed the raw Z-Wave configuration parameters from the manual.
- Updated the dimmers to the latest firmware (5.19), which is reflected in Homey’s device settings.
- Removed and re-added the devices multiple times, both before and after the firmware update (from 5.17).
- Searched Google and the Homey Community forums. While I’ve seen similar issues reported across platforms, I haven’t found a working solution.
My current setup:
- Homey Pro (Early 2023)
- Homey version: 12.5.0
If anyone has suggestions on what else I can try or where to look next, I’d really appreciate the guidance!
Thanks.
