Home and away wifi

Hello everybody happy new year.

I have an issue. I have just a couple of days ago changed my internet provider. And after that my home and away changes more than once doing the day, and i am just home. Have anybody any solutions for that?

Bad wifi ?

Wrong ip adres ?

Phone MAC reset to random ?

Gremlins ?

Same router, but just faster fiber internet.

Homey Presence isn’t using the Home internet (WiFi) for the location …

Looks a coincidence and unrelated to each other.

Maybe it is a coincidence, but it just keeps doing it and it never happened before with the old internet :thinking:

Maybe disable and re-enable home/away detection in the Homey app on your mobile device that you use for presence detection (most likely your phone).

In the app > More tab (3 dots) > tap your user name at the top > toggle the ‘use home/away detection’.

Further check that the location in which your Homey thinks it is located, is correct.
In the app > More tab (3 dots) > Settings > Location.

Have you tried without Wifi ? Keep your phone on 5G for a day (or as long as you need to find out if it’s actually a wifi issue or not).
