Haptique RS90 Homey App based on MQTT

Hello Homey Community,

I am the founder of the Haptique universal remote controller an Indo-French startup. We are Homey partners arelady. I have just published a new app for testing that allows you to fetch Macros and Devices from your Haptique remote and expose them as individual devices in Homey.

If you own a Haptique RS90, this app allows you to control it directly via Homey. You can handle commands for individual devices—no matter how many you have configured—but I think most users will find the Macros most useful. These are sequences of commands (like On/Off cycles) that you can now trigger from Homey.

For example, I use Homey to trigger a Haptique Macro that turns on my Roku TV and launches YouTube or Spotify immediately. Haptique also has on board Infrared which users can expand to work as Homey IR device. You have to configure Haptique using Haptique config mobile app.

While Haptique is a handheld remote that already integrates with Homey (to control Homey Devices, Flows, and Advanced Flows), this new app enables reverse control, allowing Homey to automate the remote itself.

For this app to work you will require MQTT server app running and configured. Haptique config app will require Homey MQTT details and you are good to go.

Looking for community feedback and suggestions as we expand our presence in from France. We have many customers from NL and are expanding our reach worldwide.

Thank you,

Willis
