[Feature Request] learn the commands from a remote control unit to Homey

WHAT:
I would like to be able to configure a remote control unit inside the app. This could be done for IR and 433MHz remotes primary.
HOW:
The configuration would look something like this: Learn the commands to homey by pressing the buttons on the remote control unit and saving it as a virtual-device (remote) inside of Homey. The commands should be triggerable by flows.
BENEFITS:
This would also help the developers, since there won’t be a app request for every device with a remote and would also give some flexibility to the user.

I know there are more users that want this.

But as it is not possible as an App on Homey you have ask Athom.
Even the once available and later moved to Experimental learn an IR code was some firmwares ago removed by Athom.

For now your only option is to use a 3rd party device capable of your feature request and that can be used with Homey using an App. (There are several)

BTW: Therefore not moved to Community App request. As it is currently not possible in an Homey App.
