I’m trying to find a GU10 led(spot) that is more than 600lmn.
I really don’t care about colors or dimming as it’s mainly for a spot in carport.
Main thing is that it’s supported by Homey Pro, and preferably ZigBee or Matter .

All Zigbee lights/bulbs should be supported by Homey without the need of an Homey app:
With regard to Matter, it’s probably a little more complicated, as Athom doesn’t follow the Matter specification 100%, as far as I know.
But if you can’t find smart 600 lumen GU10 spotlights (I couldn’t find any from Philips Hue or Innr, for example), you can also use non-smart GU10 spotlights and a Homey-compatible Zigbee switching relay.
Thanks.
Relay isn’t an option here due to how and where the light switch is mounted.
(tried to fit in a Sonooff micro-relay MINIL2 but no luck)
I’ll order a couple of “somebrand” ZigBee 3 lights and see how they work…
(fingers crossed)
Smart (Zigbee) lights/bulbs should generally not be disconnected from the power circuit using a physical switch. Just saying.
Well aware of that, what I was referring to was placement of the relay as an alternative to ZigBee bulb.
The relay can be put in an other box as well: Sometimes there’s more room in the junction box in the ceiling. It should be accessible without needing a hammer and chisel.
2nd, when there’s not enough room in the switches’ wall box, you can consider replacing the light switch with a smart model.
This can switch a “dumb” light by hand, or wireless.
Probably a neutral wire lacks in the switches’ wall box: Look for smart switches which don’t need a neutral wire.
TY, but modifying the switches or adding stuff to wiring is unfortunately not a realistic option in this case as it’s a rented and shared carport…
Your ideas are fully applicable on my backyard though!
Ah, that explains a lot ![]()

And YW!
I only found these wifi enabled lights in a Dutch web market, but you’d be able to find those in your place as well;
Nothing found with zigbee / Matter though.
These two lights are most probably Tuya whitelabels; not sure if the mentioned lumen are realistic:
580lm
