Ik probeer al daaaaagen een Modbus te koppelen met een waveshare ( RS485 to ETH ( B) )
Ik gebruik de app SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus met een Waveshare RS 485 to ETH ( B) en een Growatt MIN 3300 TL-X Script wordt als goed ervaren door de test functie echter er gebeurd niks. De Homey stuurt wel iets uit. ( heb een commando bijgevoegd dat de led ring oplicht bij uitsturen) echter de growatt doet helemaal niets… Als ik instructies lees , zie zou het makkelijk moeten zijn echter ergens gaat het dan mis…
thank you. But still things are not clear for me.. I connected a waveshare with my network en my inverter ( growatt ) ,made a script and nothing happens… Do i have to read and write via modbus device the inverter ?. for me that part is not clear since i also have a script. Feels like double…
I installed the Solaredge + growatt TCp modbus yes. I checked the + and - on the 3 and 4 connection of the growatt. If that would be enough , I pinged the waveshare ( LAN ) and have connectiong. ( I suppose offcourse with a script ) then it should work, but it doesnt… If I “test” te script I get a “set at 49% (~1623W)——————————————————— Script Success Returned: 49”
So for me this indicates that the script is ok. But nothing happens. The Solaredge + growatt TCp modbus “inverter” gives a total other value as the Growatt values via the Wifi dongle / server. The only thing ( for now ) what I am wondering about is if I have to give the IP of the Waveshare , which i think is correct
EDIT: After many times checking I missed each time the settings : "Enable Multi-host NO… instead off YES… After changing to YES it seems that it works…

EDIT ( Again) : It seemed it worked..
EDIT ( Again) : it doesn’t work… It is difficult to notice because all day long the values change due to all kind off usage.
EDIT : it seemed that it worked… But ( there is always a but…) the inverter does not react…
Please use the app’s topic to get support, that’s customary on this community. A lot more people will read you post and might be able to help you.
Also, provide some more information, which Growatt Inverter, show a screenshot of the waveshare config, show a screenshot of the Growatt device config in Homey etc.
Hi @DaneedeKruyff , Sorry, since I am new here, it takes a bit to know how it works. I use a growatt MIC 3300 TL-X inverter connected via de wifi dongle from Growatt and also connected via a waveshare. The wifi dongle works with a homescript and the Solardge + growatt TCP Modbuss app
