Google automations for Homey?

Hi!

Still new here but getting better.

When I synced my ST to Google all devices was synced, including virtual ones to be able to start flows but this doesn’t seem to be the case here, not even real buttons are synced.
And flows aren’t either when makes it sort of hard to have Google do anything except turning a light on or off which seems to be a bit rudimentary.

How do I then start flows, press buttons and so on using my voice?

Mark your Flows that you want to run with Google Home as favorite. Then, you can say “Start Flow [name]” to start them. You can optionally create a routine to set custom phrases.
You need to have set up Homey in Google Home first. To do this, go to the + → Add device → Linked apps and services menu, and add Homey there.

The limitation is on Googles side.
Virtual switches work great (to start GHome automations), if they have the device class “Kettle” or “Lock” (amongst some others, but you’d find out yourself).

How does Google limit it?
Due to limitations in ST I had to rely a lot on virtual devices and they all synced over fine.
And the funny thing is that Aeotec Buttons get synced over?
But nothing else.

I did add a few as favourite but they don’t show up..

But actually, virtual socket (on/off) actually syncs.. It’s just took a lot longer..
Problem solved.

Thanks!!

To speed it up, you can say “Ok Google, Synchronize my devices”. You can also enable automatic syncing in More→Settings→Google Assistant in the Homey app.
