Is there anyone who have been looking in to develop an app for being able to connect the Homey to the new Fresh Intelivent Sky (called ICE in English, SKY in Swedish) bathroom ventilation fan to monitor status?
Just created a brand request. Pleas search and see if you can find it.
Have limited knowledge in coding but found out that the Fresh Bluetooth connected bathroom fans do not require api. It is an open protocol so it is possible to identify the BLE signals as Read/Writhe.
Sorry no,
I think the tricky part is to get the Bluetooth signals as they are not officially available. Maybe someone knows how to fetch them from the app? If we can get those maybe we can build somethingđ
I have tried making the app, i do have 3 fans myself, and i can pair and get all 3 added.
Problem is that the fan uses a 4 bit auth code, and i have not been able to save it to my Homey Pro 2019. I get the service uuids etc, like i can see the name i set for them in the Fresh phone app (translated from hex â utf-8).
The fan needs the key to create a bonded connection, else i cannot update the fan, like the speed.
And to my knowledge none of the Homeyâs does bonding, (someone with better knowledge might correct me on this), so it seems like the only option is to use something like a esp32 board or similar.
I was in contact with Fresh support (vendor of Intellivent Sky) today asking if any Homey support is on the roadmap from vendor side. Answer is no. A new smartphone app is soon to be published, but that doesnât help for us.
