Hi, I was looking for something like Homey for a while but before I get started I need additional information that I did not find here so far. I am running a house here that over the years became a kind of patchwork-Frankenstein-SmartHome. Almost 200 little gadgets are installed that run with Zigbee, Bluetooth and WiFi, more or less controlled by Apps from Shelly, Tuya, SmartLife, Ikea Tradfri and Lidl. The roller shutters e.g. are WiFi based but refuse to work with anything but SmartLife. Some Lidl stuff will work with Tuya and several Chinese Wifi switches work with Lidl although they are not listed there. My questions are: Can anyone report some experience with migrating such a bunch of gadgets into Homey? And can I start with a Homey bridge and later buy a Homey pro?

No, and I would advice you to check the Apps store for each and every device you have…
Yes and no, you can, but will have to re-create each flow you make. A bridge is an extention to Homey Cloud ie: A contribution based service, A Homey Pro is an individual controller/device you buy. There is now upgrade path and no backup-restore between both.
Apart from that, not every App for the Pro is availabele for Cloud, and Connunity Apps are never available. And you probably want/need to use these with you setup…
You could do a tryout with cloud, see if you like the way Homey works, if you like the way you create flows etc. but after that, switch over to an decicated device asap.
