I am planning to move my very basic Aqara alarm system on to Homey but came across the problem of integrating an outdoor siren into the system. I don’t have power or USB to the front of the building but I thought I had found the perfect solution. The Eufy Security Siren. It is battery powered, needs the Eufy Homebase 3 which I already need for their cameras, it can cope with being in a sheltered place outside and it would mean I didn’t have to introduce another protocol.
However I have heard that it won’t integrate properly with Homey.
Has anyone any experience of using the siren and managed to get it working?
