Ethernet connection GONE after 1-hour power outage

Hi everyone,

I need to vent and, hopefully, find a solution for a situation I find frankly unacceptable for a “Pro” device.

The Issue: I left my Homey Pro disconnected from power for just one hour. When I plugged it back in, the device was completely unresponsive/unreachable. I was forced to perform a hard reset using a pin in the bottom slot just to get it back to life.

The Ridiculous Part: Now that I’m back in the initial setup, Ethernet is nowhere to be found. The device is only giving me the Wi-Fi option, even though it’s physically plugged into the official Ethernet adapter.

How is it possible that a 1-hour power disconnection triggers such a massive failure?

  • Why did it lose its internal state/config so easily?

  • Why is the Ethernet adapter not being detected during the recovery setup?

Have you plugged the dongle in the right way? Short end connects to the PSU/adapter.

no, then I made the wrong connections after having redone all the wiring of the system, thanks
