Downloading updates when on a mech

Hi i have my homey pro on a deco m9 mech network connected with ethernet to a mech node.
works like a charm. But it wont donwload any homey updates. Says something like unable to verify version.
when i connect the ethernet cable to my main router from telia it starts downloading and updating.
Is there any ports that shall be open for the homey in the mech firewall to it to work?

Hi there,
Have you resolved your issue ?
I’ve got the same problem .

Thanks

Based on other posts it seems that certain WiFi mesh networks may cause network connectivity issues with Homey if Homey has not been assigned a fixed IP address and your Homey is not permanently allocated to one of the Mesh access points (so it hops from one to another access point). The issue does not present itself when connecting Homey via an ethernet cable (so only via WiFi).

So you might want to reserve a dedicated IP address for your Homey (DHCP reservation) and link it to a specific access point. Normally you can configure both in your router’s settings.

Also, restarting your router and all mesh WiFi devices might already solve the issue temporarily, but it might return if Homey has not been assigned a fixed IP/access point.

Yes. It is working now. Got my homey wired to a mesh point and then it works. So not connected by wifi
