I have a dashboard both on my iPhone and an iPad that sits on the wall next to the homey. However, one of the apps looks so very different on the iPad compared to on my phone. how can this be?
iPhone
Since I’m a new user I can only post one image.
On the iPad the curve is a flat line.
Is it possible to adjust the scale on the graph on the iPad?
Is this on the default dashboard (home page) or did you create one of your own ?
If you use the default one you probably set the graph manually on both devices. As far as I know you cannot share the default “home” dashboard. Perhaps you made a miss click while selecting the measurement ?
If this is the case you have to scroll in the dashboard down to the bottom until you see a button with “edit” or something like that. Than go to the graph and press the 3 dots and there you have an edit option.
If it is a self created dashboard..then this is strange because that one should be the same for all who opens the dashboard.
I think @fredrikhed is referring to the scaling/precision of the Y-axis. Which is different between the two mobile devices, causing the same data to be presented differently.
I understood that, but is that not what you can select when you add the graph to your dashboard?
That is why I was wondering of this is on the “home” default dashboard or one self created. Because those are both a bit different in sharing the content.
No indeed: you cannot configure the scale of the Y-axis in Homey’s Insights widget.
I just checked: I created a similar widget (energy over the last 24 hrs) for my refrigerator. Both on the homepage of my phone, homepage of my tablet and on a shared dashboard. In all three cases the presentation is the same:
Homepage phone
Homepage tablet
Shared dashboard
