Having added my Chromecast devices in Homey Pro, they have now synced back to Google Home as Homey devices 
, so they appear twice in Google Home. I have grouped them in a separate ‘not used’ room, but is there any way to prevent individual Homey device sync to Google home?

There isn’t such way as far as I know, this is limitation of the Google itself.
I would maybe not to move them just to separate “room” but separate “household”.
