Can’t connect to tado app

I can’t connect to tado app I keep getting the message “cannot read the properties of undefined …”

I get this after I press acceptor give homey access to tado app.

Which version of the tado app are you using?

I just added my tado devices to a Homey cloud account.

9.12 think it was an account issue I did a reset on the account now I don’t have the warning anymore. But now it tells me no new devices to add in homey once connected to tado. While I have 3 devices of tado in the app.

Not sure how to get around this one.

Sorry, I meant the Homey tado app.

I am using the one that was found when adding a device to Homey:

There are several version kicking around because tado kept changing the API.

But as you can see it finds all my devices:

I think i have the same app is the official one

When adding device I click tado app as suggestion and get this

When clicking here something I have to connect to login and then it says no devices found. I do work with tado x not the older v3 is it possible tado x is not available?

Hmm, now that I’m not sure about as all of mine are the old type, so maybe that is the issue.

I’m fairly new to homey and automations but I suppose you need the apps to connect or can you connect devices straight to homey? For the moment I’m only on the free cloud version. So I don’t have the home bridge or anything. Not sure it would be possible with this bridge?

I’m not sure if the tado X requires Matter or if it should work via the cloud as well.

If it requires Matter, then you will need a Homey Pro or Homey Mini as the Homey Bridge doesn’t support it.

I have asked if the official tado app supports tado-X devices and will let you know if I get an answer.

I presume you have a tado bridge that connects your tado-x devices to their system?

The official answer is tado x devices are not supported via Homey cloud, so you will need a Homey Pro or Mini.

Jinthe doende information I have their thermostat which functions as a bridge for tado.

I was also looking more in the app but via de browser and under cloud only the three I see are support under the pro the x series is also supported. But if a shame because I wanted to see if I could test the flow of these thermostats before committing to buying the homey pro this especially to make sure that if I buy it I can do what I would like to do. :smiley:otherwise I end up with a very expensive bridge and I still can’t make my tado work together with other brands.
