I get it; I’m more just updating the thread for the sake of folks who are googling the issue. Do you think it is worth removing TP-Link from the Homey Best Buy Guide? I know I won’t be purchasing any more of their smart products.
The plug in the Best Buy Guide is a Matter based plug, which doesn’t have these issues
Let me add my voice to users experiencing this issue. Here we are in February of 2026 and I have this issue all the time. This issue and TP-Link lack of addressing it will definitely play a role when deciding which brands I select going forward. Anyway I just wanted to report this is still a problem with users.
