Broken matter devices after 12.12.0 upgrade on homey pro 2023

After an automatic upgrade to 12.12.0 my devices connected via matter became unavailable and I have not been able to repair them or delete and add them again as the connection simply fails.

As a temporary (or maybe permanent) solution I was able to add them to home assistant without any problem and then share them back to homey via the Homeassistant app.

Has anyone else had a problem. Any solutions? I have tried rebooting the homey and all the normal type checks.

Are you running Eros for you WiFi? If so try disabling the Eero thread network

Thanks but no. I run Google wifi.

I have just recently after much setting and resetting managed to add one device back.

I do wonder if my thread network is a little “threadbare”. Maybe I need some more devices using thread.
