Bosch Home Connect app; is a remote start of a washing machine even possible?

In this topic (dutch) I read that the app is known for frequently loosing it’s connection. A restart of the app temporarily solves the issues.

So if it works after a restart of the app, I would recommend to contact the developer.

As a workaround restart the app daily (or more often). Or use the error flow (assuming it’s causing an error if it’s not responding) to restart the app and start this flow again. Something like this:
