Battery state reporting in Homey

I have two questions regarding battery state reporting in Homey:

  1. I have a few Sensative Strips Guard on windows and doors. They show up in the list of battery powered devices, but with no value. From Futurehome I’m used to these reporting 100 % - 75 % - 50 % - 25 % - 0 %. Is there any way to get this in Homey as well?

  2. I also have a few Aeotec Multisensor 6, all of them USB powered. These show up in the list of battery powered devices with a constant 100 % battery level. Is there any way to get them off this list?

  1. With the Sensative Community App, the battery level was stated in 100 - 75 - 50 - 25 - 0 %. So generally it’s possible. But this App isn’t compatible with Homey Pro (early 2023).
However, it’s not possible to change the it in the official Sensative app, you have to ask the app developer. Contact options can be found in the App Store.
But I assume that Sensative AB will not change this because Homey, at least in the past, has shown some very strange battery charge levels, sometimes 50 % and then 100 % again. And Sensative has probably received a few complaints because the battery is supposed to last up to 10 years.

  2. It’s more or less the same. It’s not possible to change it by yourself. Please contact the App developer.

Right, I suspected this was the case. Thank you very much! :+1: I will go pester the app developers and see what happens.

As for the Sensative Strips, do you know if they will at least report low battery with the official app?

They should:

But never happened with my 14 Sensative Strips, because the battery charge level are still ok.

OK, sounds good. Then there should at least be a warning when they start running out. :+1:

I sent Sensative a message through the app store just now. We’ll see if they pick up on it. Thanks again!
