Automatic dimmer function for ligths

Hi people,

I hope this hasn’t been already answered in another topic.
I m looking for a way to create a flow making slowly dimmer some connected mural lights in my lounge or some lights in my garden.

As an exemple :

  • Is there any function or variable I can use to make a connected light cycle from 10% to 100%, then back, within 2mn per cycle or user set time ?
  • Is there any variable I can add to this flow to slightly vary the cycles time within 10% or a user set percentage ?

Thank you by advance for any answer.
Cedrick.

The chronograph app has cards that support that.

Thanks a lot for this answer, Andy. I’m gonna work on this

By the way, I guess I can also you the Chronograph app to set some lights to gradually dimmer from 0 to 100 each time I switch them on?

Hi Cedrick,

Something like this ?

The dim-time range can be from seconds to days, very flexible.

ooo yes yes yes. Thanks Peter :):slightly_smiling_face:

My pleasure. It"s important to know the dim range in flowcards is 0 to 1
Like, 0.15 stands for 15%.
And don’t use comma’s, only dots.

@Peter_Kawa Isn’t this standard in Homey these days?

Hi Tom, as far as I know this is only available for certain lights / apps, unfortunately it’s not a generic option.
