Ask to making 15-minute peak power available. Comes via P1 port Digital meter to Energy dongle but not to Homey PRO for using in flows

About Homey Energiy dongle

Our digital meter is a Sagemcom XT211 Sicona in Belgium (3F+N).
The power (kW) ,about the 3 phases, at the moment is send every second or two second = OK in Homey.
Our digital meter displays and send also the current value of the quarter-hour peak power accumulated over the last quarter-hour (15 minutes). This value resets to 0 every quarter-hour (the graph shows a sawtooth).
The highest quarter-hour peak power ultimately determines the monthly peak (I believe that value also comes from the P1 port).
After all, we pay more on our bill for a higher monthly peak. Therefore, it’s wise to monitor the quarter-hour peak power in addition to the kW and kWh and, if necessary, (temporarily) switch off (large) consumers in time. Because for one quarter-hour peak power of 10kW per month, we pay 10kW peak power for the entire month.
These values do indeed come from the P1 port of the meter (which you previously investigated). I’m currently doing this via Home Assistant, but unfortunately, it’s not yet possible to integrate it into the Homey (PRO) flows with your energy dongle in the P1 port. Because I don’t see these values coming into Homey to use in flows.

I have already make a diagnosic report on 08 feb 2026 (via app) from the the Homey Energy Dongle. The code from the report is 9171102D (the current quarter-hour peak power value was at this moment 4.93 kW)

I am eagerly looking forward to a solution within Homey (PRO)

Hi Marc and welcome,

This will only work when you create a support ticket along with it. Officially this is a users only forum.

But I guessume these peaks are not recorded as a special entity by the dongle itself, it only reports regular usage.

Concerning the peak tax:
Check the Piggy Bank app,
It’s aimed to control your power use regarding Norwegian and Belgium peak tariffs;
in short: it can turn off preferred electric devices when tariff, or power usage, or used energy exceeds defined thresholds;

The Power by the Hour app might be helpful as well.

I will take it into account
