Aqua Temp pool heater

Hi @Jesper_Rasmussen

Most recent event is switching on manually from the devices tab in homey. Few seconds after that it reverts back to the off state.

Nevermind, the heatpump wifi dongle was offline from the network. Pulled the power and it’s back now, working again from homey!

On the other hand, i guess the API call got an error back, might be good to throw an error in homey as well. That way we can do some error handling in the flows

Exactly. My first look at the report was that it did not connect to the wifi module.
But yes, this should be handled better. I will look into that.

This is fixed in version 1.8.4.

Is the source code available anywhere for this app? I’m really interested to know more about how it all works behind the scenes. Thanks

Source code is in GitHub: GitHub - jaybora/aquatemp: AqauTemp app for homey

Thanks to all who contribute to this app! It is greatly appreciated.

I have a connection problem since about two weeks. My heat pump is connected in Homey for 15-30 seconds and then not available for 1-2 minutes. This repeats over and over.

I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled v.1.10.0. It runs on Homey Pro (2026) v.13.4.0.

There are no connection problems in the official Aqua Temp app. I have shared the heat pump to an account separate from the one used in Homey. It makes no difference if I am logged into the official app or not.

Any suggestions on what could cause this error?

I also restarted Homey (again) which didn’t help. Then I restarted the Tuya app which has been causing other problems. Now the connection to the heat pump seems stable (at least for now). Maybe a coincidence. Maybe not. Maybe just writing about it here was the solution
