Aqara V1 Display switch

Hi all,

I got a M3 Hub and a Display Switch V1.

I have the switch added to Aqara app, and set the 1 main button for my celing light.

The other 3 buttons I wanted to use as wireless scenes.
First issue is added the M3 hub to Homey brought in the 2 physical buttons (only one is connected) and no wireless options for the other 2 or 3 switches.

Is there a way to pull these in?

And I removed the Switch 2 and it removes both Switch 1 (connected switch) and Switch 2.

Is there a good way to onboard these devices correctly?

Hello Savell,

  1. Phone or Homey app?
Please mention ‘phone app’ when it isn’t about a Homey app.
  1. How? Using Matter?
  1. If 2) is answered with a yes, you’re limited to what (Homey) Matter has available for you ( = basic functionality)
Plus, when devices are a bit more complicated, it’s impossible to support all of it’s functionality with Matter.
Im that case it needs a dedicated app.

Ah yeah sorry im still new to Homey.

I installed the Aqara App on my iPhone. Got the V1 added there.

I then brought in the hub into Homey via Matter.

But I have a Homey Bridge coming tomorrow, and I will try to add the switch directly from Homey (Aqara app) and see if I can find it.

But I dont see it as part of the options to add.

Any advice?

No problem.
Which Homey model do you own?
(I wonder why you would buy a Homey bridge).

The (Homey) Aqara app doesn’t support the Display Switch V1 atm.
You can request for device support by posting in the dedicated Aqara app topic; find it on the app page at the homey.app store

Oh sorry I have a Homey Self Hosted setup…

I guess I’ll post in there then and see where I get.
