I’m planning on doing a big jump in my lighting situation the coming months and changing out all my (dumb) light switches. I have quite a few Aqara products already and have been very happy so far, but some of the newest switches(Display Switch and Light Switch H2 specifically) are not supported (or have limited support) directly in Homey.
I have read a bit and I understand that if I add a separate Aqara Hub I will also be making a separate Zigbee network and that I need to be aware of potential range issues. Are there other limitations I should be aware of? I do not mind the cost of the extra hub itself.
Another question. I would still like to control all automations etc in Homey. Would that still work? Ideally the Aqara Hub would just be to set up the Switch, but pressing the button would trigger Homey flows?
Ive had so many stability issues with my Homey pro 2026 so I bought an AQARA M3 HUB and hoping that I can set that up so it’s more reliable but then connect that to my Homey pro so I can do all the flows. Have you had any success in getting yours to all work?
Ah ok. Thank for letting me know. I think I’m going to factory reset my honey Pro 2026 which is a nightmare and start again but going to set up an AQARA M3 hub for reliability and connect the hub to HP. … in theory but no idea! Ha ha ha
