Yes, that’s what I did. Nevertheless, the sensor doesn’t send any update to homey when the door is open. I had a similar issue when I connected a sonoff Door sensor as a general zigbee device, but that’s not the case

Well, sounds like an aqara Problem so why didn‘t you asked in the aqara forum? A bit more details about the sensors type/ id, used app, homey FW, … won‘t harm either.

In that case, you should ask in the app topic:

Generic Zigbee devices only support on/off, dim and color control (so only meant for lights and switches).
