Aqara curtain driver E1

Hello,

I recently bought 2x aqara curtain driver E1 ‘s thinking they could be integrated with homey directly.

From reading the forums I should be able to do so, however it adds as an unkown zigbee device for some some reason, I checked to see if the model number matches with what is listed on the device list in the homey app store and it matches.

I have tried restarting the app, restarting homey, set my location to china, tried both ios and android but i cannot get the drivers to connect properly.

The model number is: ZNCLBL01LM

if anyone could share some insight, it would be deeply appreciated, Thanks!

Buy the E1 hub. Plugs in by usb, create an Aqara account and add it there.
Share the hub via matter and the blinds will appear. They work brilliantly

BUT, is it described as lumi.curtain.agl001 in the device settings?

Because there’s “Rest of the world” and “China mainland” versions out there, the app supports “Rest of the world” versions.

For what it is worth: I have several Aqara Curtain Driver E1s (track version); the ones sold in Europe.

They have the following IDs on the packaging:

• Model: CM-M01
• SKU: AM025GLW01

And in Homey:

If you bought yours via a Chinese webshop, then you have likely received the unsupported Chinese version.

its listed as acn1003, so i got the wrong version then i guess. Do i need to send it back? Or is there a way around this?

I’m not under the impression the dev is going to add 2 series of the same devices with different firmwares

Unfortunately, the international and Chinese version differ in firmware implementation and a simple copy / adding the productId is not an option.

There is no way around in the current Aqara app. I understood from the developer that implementing support for the Chinese versions of Aqara products does not have priority right now; they might also have different internals. If you have the option to send the drivers back / exchange them with EU versions I would do so.

Im will send the chinese version back and i already ordered another from a known dutch company so hopefully those will be good.

I have got my EU aqara curtain driver E1’s and they work without hesitation out of the box as advertised.
