hello, at shortcuts app don’t show the flows from homey pro 23. Shows No available choice.

Is it a bug or I must wait for an update from Homey?

Hello,

Shortcuts to launch Homey flows fail 80% of the times. I can’t understand why … it seems a random behaviour…
And when this happens, iOS Widgets doesn’t work neither !
Does anyone find the same problem?
Any way to solve this ?

This happens with last version of Homey app for iOS and also with Beta version with Dashboards. Version of firmware of Homey Pro is 12.1.0.

I run 2 shortcuts with flows and works everyday. what happened to you?

Same for me, works for a few hours and then suddenly starts failing all the time

When your iOS shortcuts fail, do your iOS widget fail too ?

iOS 18 has this new functionality where you can protect apps with faceID. If you have that enabled, also no other apps can access any of the api’s within the app.

  • Do you have the homey app configured protected? If so, then no shortcut or widget will run.
  • Do you have shortcuts run based on health data like sleep schedules? If so, protecting the health app, will prevent these shortcuts from running as well.
  • Do you have any shortcut run based on data from any other app that is protected? These won’t work either.

I had not activated Face Id protection in any of my apps. I’ve checked it and it is effectively disabled.
I guess must be another problem.

Widget + Shortcut also I seem to notice that the automatic location based presence detection (away/home) is not working anymore.

Away/ home detection doesn’t work well neither.

Nevertheless I’m not sure if this is linked to Shortcuts and Widget problems (when Shortcuts fails, the widget fails too)

I would love to trigger sleep/awake from my iPhone. Sleep works well, awake never works based on shortcuts/automation. Has to do with how Apple handles the sleep functionality, apparently.

I don’t think what you are describing has anything to do with the problems in this thread. Automations around the built in sleep focus are just unreliable in general, but you can use a custom focus without problems (I will PM you with details to keep this thread on topic).

This is about triggering flows not at all being possible from shortcuts.
