Tuya Wifi is still working fine with the Tuya Cloud community app, but it’s not actively maintained atm.
But, the HA Tuya integration is 3000 times easier to configure (pw and QR code scan) 
, because Tuya supports and developed the integration for HA, ánd it adds all of your Tuya devices + tap-to-run scenes all by itself
True for the “official” Homey Tuya app: Athom was working on an app with Tuya earliere this year, but Athom says Tuya suddenly pulled the plug one day.
I don’t think it will ever happen again, Athom founders said some “quite unfriendly” things about the quality of Tuya devices.
To import HA devices to Homey, I can recommend the HA community app 1000%. I use it since the first published version.
