I also had to repair them when I restarted the app. It looks like whenever the app is restarted, the devices need to be repaired
Have the same issue
Thatās not my experience. I just restarted Homey and all my devices came back. Thatās the second time Iāve done that.
Iām wondering whether thereās some kind of time during which authentication still works but after that time a restart will trigger the issue.

Some work can still be done here I think. I currently have Tuya Cloud and Tuya (the one from Drenso) installed. All my Tuya WiFi devices are now in Homey twice which is actually niceā¦
Yet it seems that for example the power metering of the Tuya Cloud instance is updated more often than the power metering of the (Homey Drenso) Tuya app.
And of course: I had to repair a few times now. Something that I never had to do with the Tuya Cloud app.
Apart from that this seems to be a very good initiative! And the color changing of lights seems better. Will continue to test!
I am a bit stuck here too. I understand I can control the device using a flow but canā t I tie that flow to the press of the button thatās created with the device?
I think the only option for āOther devicesā is to create an additional virtual device that contains the controls (like buttons) and capability read-outs/sensors (like temperature, humidity) that you want.
The Advanced Virtual Device from the Device Capabilities app allows you to to this. You can use the buttons to trigger a flow that commands your device, and flows that update the sensors in the virtual device.
Basically you are building your own device, so it requires some work. Check this forum topic on the Advanced Virtual Device: [APP][Pro] Advanced Virtual Device (Device Capabilities App) with Unique Text Status Indicator
Ah perfect I have tried this and managed to so far get the temperature working so I can set the temperature and also turn the kettle on/off with the virtual device! thanks @SunBeech
For supported button devices you will see a When card that activates when you press the button.
For unsupported devices, go to the Devices page in the Homey developer tools and look under Capabilities. If you see a capability that reacts to your button (the tools react in real time) make a note of the capability name and type. Tthen delete and re-add your device as āOtherā. You will then be able to use a When card like āStatus xxx gets a new yyy valueā where xxx is the capability name and yyy is its type.
You can also use the Then cards for āOtherā devices to change the value of capabilities allowing you to do anything the device supports.
Is there any support for the Temperatur and Humidity/Climate sensor with external probe? I have added it in the Tuya app but it wonāt be added in Homey. I can find it as an āotherā device but then I canāt see any data from it.
same here - included, but no sensor data
