Did you add your Tuya device first to the Smart Life or Tuya app on your Phone?

If you have and then when you want to add them to the Tuya app on Homey:

• The Tuya app on Homey first asks you to enter your User Code, as indicated in the SmartLife/Tuya app on your phone,
• Followed by a request to scan the QR code. You’ll have to use your SmartLife/Tuya app on your phone to scan the QR code the Tuya app on Homey shows.
  
  

Next your devices are shown.

If the Tuya app on Homey only finds your devices when selecting the Other Devices section, then indeed they are not supported out-of-the-box. However then you can use RAW command to control them (as indicated in the first post). To control the device via buttons you could add a virtual device:

I think the only option for ‘Other devices’ is to create an addition virtual device that contains the controls (like buttons) and capability read-outs/sensors (like temperature, humidity) that you want. The Advanced Virtual Device from the Device Capabilities app allows you to to this. You can use the buttons to trigger a flow that commands your device, and flows that update the sensors in the virtual device. Basically you are building your own device, so it requires some work. Of course, this requires some effort and is is just a work around for out-of-the-box support. The latter you can request based on the details included in the device tiles after adding your devices to the Other Devices section.
