I was trying to fix the app but if it comes soon then I’ll just wait for the official release
That would for sure be a nice Christmas gift!
Would be great if I can connect my Tuya devices again without all the cloud project troubles.
An early Christmas present in this case, here you go

Wow! Really nice! It’s a pity I am still working. Can’t wait to start testing!
How? I tried com.tuya2/test earlier today (just to see if it worked) and it didn’t work. Was this in local development stage earlier?
It was published exactly 21 minutes ago
Is this one also opensource like the old Tuya app?
I assume Athom has contacted the HA devs to tell them you’re reusing their CLIENT_ID for this app?
Credit goes to Frenck for pointing us to the repo that’s being used, so yes ![]()
Worked perfectly. Might be the best Christmas present I get this year….![]()

Where did you find that? I can’t find the repo for this app unfortunately (only old com.tuya)
Working great so far. I’ve added 26 devices already
The repo currently isn’t linked yet, but it will be in the next release. Don’t you worry!
Most Homey apps are closed-source nowadays, but that doesn’t mean you can’t access their code if you jailbreak your Homey ![]()
You can access the manifest via https://apps-api.athom.com/api/v1/app/ and add the app ID to the end
For example: https://apps-api.athom.com/api/v1/app/link.homewizard

FWIW, I set my Homey to update manually. I just updated to 12.10.0 and my ‘new app’ devices were off line after the update. A repair, which invoked the user code/QR code procedure, on one device brought them back.
In case there was any doubt, a Homey Pro update causes the app to lose its authentication with Tuya/Smartlife.

Interesting enough the Tuya Cloud devices were still connected ![]()
But thanks for mentioning this. I indeed had to repair the devices.
