Did you follow the instructions in the error message?
Btw, as in the error message mentioned, the first post of this thread contains various information on adding devices and troubleshooting. So pls. check this post.
One last tip: contact the app developer directly if the information and tips from the first post were not helpful, because:
Like an earlier poster I also have these - 4 actually.
The earlier Bluetooth only version is no longer made, these new devices wonât pair with Homey either by Zigbee or Bluetooth - the earlier pairing with the previous Bluetooth only version now doesnât work.
Can someone help get these working please.
Donât know who does Shelly integration but it needs and update
Because these are not currently supported by the Homey Shelly app.
Please check the Homey App Store to see which devices are currently supported and who programs the Homey Shelly app. Relevant contact details are also provided.
For a while now, after physically turning off a lamp with the light switch (both Dimmer2 and 1pm), the status has been showing up in Homey with a very long delay (about a minute). This used to work with a small, acceptable delay of up to 5 seconds. Since I have several flows that require multiple spotlights to turn off when I turn off a group of spotlights with the physical light switch, itâs quite annoying that this now takes a minute. Does anyone have any idea how this happens/how to fix it, or a workaround?
I have problem to get Shelly BLU RC Button 4 (the 4-button Bluetooth remote control) to trigger events in Homey Cloud.
Anyone who has done this successfully?
First of all, this is Homey Cloud.
(I have 10-ish Shelly wifi-devices that I have successfully integrated to Home Cloud - everything works very nice and stable.)
What I have succeeded with in Shelly regarding BLUE RC Button 4:
I have one of my Shelly devices acting as Bluetooth gateway
The Shelly BLU RC Button 4 is assigned to this Bluetooth gateway
I can see in the Shelly app that button pushes on the BLUE RC Button 4 are registered in Shellyâs Cloud
and in Homey (Cloud):
Added the Shelly BLU RC Button 4 as a device
The problem:
I tried a number of variants of flows triggered like: When Action event Short Push 1
But even if I can see that button pushes are registered in Shelly they donât trigger events/flows in the Homey (Cloud).
Any ideas of what the problem can be?
Anyone who has successfully done such a setup?
(I have tried searching for similar problems in this thread and found that in Oct 2024 a fix was done for Shelly BLU Button 1 - but maybe another update is needed to get the BLU RC Button 4 to work with Homey Cloud?)
It was working perfectly, getting turned on, getting dimmed and turning of from a regular flow.
And now when it turns on it gets turned of for some reason by the shelly app
I didnât make any new Flowâs, didnât add new devices.
The Shelly app updated itself, and with a reboot of the app it worked again like normal.
But now i canât get it to function like normal, i canât find out what is turning the lights back of, i even bought a new Homey, thinking it might have been the Z-Wave transmitter.
Can anybody please help me figure out what is wrong with it ?
Hi @Nicotjee, the Shelly Wave Pro Dimmers have a bad reputation of randomly turning on/off. I experience it myself from time to time, along with other strange issues like not remembering previous dim level, failing calibration, etc. Others have reported similar issues in the Shelly community forum.
A firmware update for the dimmer was recently released. Probably worth a try. Homey canât (yet) do z-wave OTA updates, but if you have a z-wave stick you can update using these instructions.
Does the current Shelly app for Homey support all the features of this device (flow rate, water pressure, and temperature)?
How is the response time when used in a Flow for leak protection?
Have you encountered any issues with the ultrasonic sensors or connectivity?
Iâm planning to integrate it into my main water line in home for safety, so any real-world feedback on its reliability with Homey would be very helpful.
